Human Anatomy- Grade VIII

Our eighth graders recently completed the study of ‘HUMAN ANATOMY’ in their morning Main Lesson Block. Anatomy Exploration: Unveiling the Human Mechanics – The anatomy segment dissected the external aspects of the human body – the mechanics underlying our bones and muscles. Students delved into the mechanical principles imprinted upon our physical framework.

The study of the skeletal system provided a profound understanding of human posture and alignment. Armed with the “Stand tall, sit tall, and walk tall” mantra, students consciously worked on their posture for optimal spinal health. Through detailed drawings, they explored the intricacies of the foot lever and its structure. A comprehensive study of the hip, pelvis, vertebral column, and skull enriched their comprehension. By block end, students adeptly identified key bones, joints, and muscles of the skeletal system.
