Glimpses from Leaf Craft Workshop

Children often marvel at the transformation of their homes into vibrant spaces during special occasions and festivals. The sight of homes adorned with exquisite flower arrangements and intricate coconut leaf decorations never fails to captivate their imagination. This display of coconut leaf crafting, leaves them in awe of the skill involved.

At the heart of the Steiner-Waldorf curriculum lies a deep emphasis on the arts and crafts. These activities go beyond the surface, nurturing practical abilities and fostering spatial awareness, boundless creativity, and a journey of self-discovery for our children.

We’re excited to share that on the 28th and 29th of August, Prerana Waldorf School, Padmabhushan Swapna Sundari and Naimisam, Jiddu Krishnamurthi Centre Hyderabad, came together to organize an engaging Leaf Craft Workshop. This workshop was held for students ranging from Grade 3 to 8. It was an enriching experience that not only equipped the children with valuable skills but also left them with cherished memories of crafting something truly special. It’s more than just a craft. It’s about nurturing imagination, honing skills, and creating lasting moments. We’re delighted that our children were able to carry home all these facets from this wonderful workshop.
